Once again, extremists are playing politics with the courts, this time trying to divide the 9th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. The Senate Judiciary Committee conducted a hearing last week to discuss the split which some have predicted would create the most conservative circuit in the country.

This brief argues against an Oklahoma law barring same-sex adoptions and also nullifying the parental rights of same-sex couples traveling through the state. This law is unconstitutional and violates the Full Faith and Credit, Equal Protection and Due Process clauses.
