The National LGBT Bar Association named Lambda Legal Fair Courts Project Director Eric Lesh to its annual list of Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40.
"This is a great and well-deserved honor for Eric who has truly distinguished himself as an outstanding legal advocate for the LGBT community," said Jon Davidson, Legal Director for Lambda Legal. "Eric is a fierce advocate for access to justice issues and judicial independence."
"In this capacity, he has engaged the LGBT community on the importance of state and federal courts and he has worked on initiatives to promote diversity on the bench, combat bias in the legal system and defend the judiciary from attacks that threaten LGBT and HIV-related civil rights," Davidson added. "We are proud of the inspired, cutting edge work he is doing."
Lesh and the other honorees were recognized at the 2017 Lavender Law® Conference, now underway in San Francisco.
