Like many of you, my history with Lambda Legal dates back to its early days.
I first met the organization as a plaintiff when, as the managing editor of Gay Community News in Boston, Lambda Legal represented the publication in a federal lawsuit in the late 1970s. Just a few years later, I joined its first national board of directors.
Throughout my career in the queer movement, I have championed Lambda Legal. I am grateful these many years later to serve as the Interim CEO, and I am deeply thankful for the donors, advocates, activists, and community stakeholders who helped build and continue to support our critical work.
Without your support, either as a veteran supporter through our early formative years and cases, or as a new and energized ally in our work, we wouldn’t be here, fighting on the frontlines.
