This Tuesday, October 22nd, marks the beginning of the Illinois State Legislature fall veto session. This is our chance to push the Illinois House of Representatives to pass the marriage bill.
We need everyone’s voice to be heard in Springfield!
Join us on Tuesday as we March on Springfield for Marriage Equality to let our elected officials know that same-sex couples in Illinois can’t wait any longer for the freedom to marry! Learn more about marching with us here: lambdalegal.org/ilove.
We have just three days in October (22nd, 23rd and 24th) and three days in November (5th, 6th and 7th) when the legislature is in session.
Every day between now and November 7th counts!
Make sure your voice is heard – call your legislators now and urge them to vote in favor of marriage for all Illinois families!
We have momentum – and you are part of it! Visit lambdalegal.org/ilove to join the March on Springfield on October 22, call your legislators, and support our work. Together, we will win the freedom to marry in Illinois!
