Susan Sommer, Director of Constitutional Litigation for Lambda Legal, was joined yesterday afternoon by Janson Wu from Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders (GLAD), Rose Saxe from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Chris Stoll from the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) for the #LGBTatSCOTUS Twitter chat. The four attorneys answered questions about Proposition 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act, as we await decisions from the Supreme Court on challenges to both.
