YouTube Sensation Zach Wahls Releases New Book about Growing Up With Two Moms in Iowa

Just before the Iowa House of Representatives considered a bill banning marriage equality, an Iowa teenager named Zach Wahls stood up before the chamber and told his story. Millions of YouTube views later, Wahls – the son of lesbian parents -- has become a powerful advocate for marriage equality. Same-sex couples like Zach's moms have the freedom to marry in Iowa today.

We first met Zach while we were fighting in court for marriage equality in Iowa, and we knew he'd make a great leader. We’re proud to have worked with him over the past few years, and we congratulate him today on the official release of his memoir, My Two Moms: Lessons of Love, Strength, and What Makes a Family.
