(New York, December 17, 2003) — Lambda Legal today announced that Gary Buseck has been hired as its Legal Director following a nationwide search over the last several months. Buseck currently serves as Executive Director of Gay & Lesbian Advocates and Defenders, the New England legal organization that recently won a groundbreaking lawsuit on behalf of same-sex couples in Massachusetts seeking full marriage rights.

(Atlanta, April 8, 2004) — Lambda Legal announced today that Jack Senterfitt, a widely respected litigator and former chief lawyer for the Georgia Department of Human Resources, has joined the staff of its Southern Regional Office in Atlanta as a Senior Staff Attorney.

Senterfitt will work on a variety of cases in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

 (New York, December 13, 2004) — Lambda Legal today announced that Jon W. Davidson is the organization’s new Legal Director, following a nationwide search over the last few months. Davidson is currently serving as Senior Counsel for Lambda Legal in its Western Regional Office and has worked for Lambda Legal for nine years. Davidson will relocate to New York to work from Lambda Legal’s national headquarters starting in January.

NEW YORK, February 9, 2000) — A clinic affiliated with the New York Presbyterian Hospital has settled a complaint by a 25-year-old gay man whose doctor made inappropriate references to his sexual orientation in medical records – even placing it on a "Problem List" usually reserved for ailments or diagnoses – while being treated for allergies, Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund said Wednesday.
