Lambda Legal Elects New York Resident to Board of Directors

(New York, October 20, 2011) - Lambda Legal announced the election of three new leaders to serve on its Board of Directors, including Robert Kuhn of New York. Joining the Board as well are Anne Krook of Seattle and Gail Morse of Chicago. Lambda Legal also announced the election of Robbin Burr, a board member since 2009, as co-chair of the Board.

"Robert's demonstrated commitment to sustainability in business operations and to nonprofit governance will serve Lambda Legal well as we continue our work in these economically troubled times," Lambda Legal Executive Director Kevin Cathcart said.

Robert W. Kuhn, J.D., is President of Kuhn Associates Management Advisors LLC, a New York-based sustainability consulting firm. Previously, Robert spent over a decade as CEO of a closely-held manufacturing company in the electronics/electrical industries. Robert's professional experience also includes seven years as a corporate attorney with New York-based Breed, Abbott and Morgan, representing financial institutions in complex financing transactions. Along with holding a number of volunteer leadership positions, Kuhn is also a frequent speaker on the subject of sustainability and has been published in a number of magazines and journals.
