This November, voters will decide who serves on the Michigan Supreme Court.
This is an important race because justices on the Michigan Supreme Court sit for eight years. In that length of time, many cases will come to the Court, potentially including cases that will have a direct impact on LGBT people and people with HIV.
State court judges are charged with upholding our civil rights and deciding cases that impact nearly every aspect of our lives. As a voter, it is important to make sure that the judges who serve on these courts are qualified, fair and impartial.
