In response to a lawsuit filed by a foster youth and alumni group as well as LGBTQ service and advocacy organizations, a court has remanded and vacated a Trump-era policy permitting taxpayer-funded discrimination against people who receive services from HHS grant programs.

The nation’s oldest and largest LGBTQ+ legal rights organization spells out the Supreme Court’s profoundly mistaken erasure of essential civil and voting rights and calls for a series of specific, urgently needed corrections.

Nation’s largest LGBTQI+ legal rights organization condemns U.S. Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade

Lambda Legal commends the Biden administration for issuing proposed regulations that will help protect LGBTQI+ youth against unlawful discrimination. The proposed rules, issued today by the U.S. Department of Education, clarify that LGBTQI+ youth are protected against discrimination under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972.
